SolaceSquad® Technologies ("Us", "We", or "SolaceSquad®") is the operator of www.solacesquad.com and the SolaceSquad® Platform, including its mobile and web applications.
This Cookie Policy explains in plain language what cookies are, which cookies we place on your device, why we place them, who else may set cookies through our Platform, and how you can control or delete cookies at any time.
This policy is to be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. By continuing to use the SolaceSquad® Platform, you agree to this Cookie Policy.
This Cookie Policy is published in compliance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("SPI Rules").
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) by your web browser when you visit a website. They contain a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. They are sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit and allow the website to recognise your browser.
Cookies serve many functions — they help websites remember who you are, keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with pages.

4. HOW AND WHY WE USE COOKIES
We use cookies for the following legitimate purposes:
Authentication & Security: To keep you securely logged in during your session, prevent session hijacking, and protect form submissions from cross-site attacks.
Booking & Appointments: To maintain your booking state during the appointment scheduling flow, ensuring your selected time slot is preserved until the transaction completes.
Video Consultations: To manage real-time call session state and ensure continuity in video consultation rooms.
User Preferences: To remember your display preferences (e.g., dashboard settings, notification preferences) so you do not have to re-enter them each visit.
Platform Analytics & Improvement: To understand which features are used most, identify error-prone areas, and direct our development roadmap to best serve our users.
Fraud Prevention: To detect and prevent fraudulent sign-ups, spam form submissions, and automated bot activity through reCAPTCHA integration.
5. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES AND SERVICES
Certain features of the SolaceSquad® Platform are powered by trusted third-party providers who may set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy for details.
Google LLC (Analytics, Sign-In, reCAPTCHA)
Google sets cookies to analyse site usage (Google Analytics), allow Sign-In with Google
(OAuth 2.0), and distinguish humans from bots (reCAPTCHA). These cookies are governed by
Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics via the
Google Analytics Opt-out
Browser Add-on.
Payment Processors
When you complete a payment, our payment partner may set cookies to process the transaction
securely and prevent fraud. These are essential for the payment flow and governed by the
payment provider's privacy policy.
Communication & Email (SendGrid / Google Workspace)
Transactional emails sent by SolaceSquad® may include tracking pixels (standard for
transactional email providers) that inform us whether an email was opened. You can disable
email tracking by setting your email client to not load remote images.
Video Conferencing (WebRTC / Daily.co)
Our video consultation rooms use WebRTC and may store temporary data to maintain call state.
This data is not used beyond the active session.
6. LEGAL BASIS FOR USING COOKIES

8. COOKIES AND SENSITIVE HEALTH DATA
SolaceSquad® is a wellness and mental health platform. We take the privacy of health-related information with the utmost seriousness. Cookies placed by SolaceSquad® do not store or transmit sensitive health-related personal data. Your consultation notes, wellness logs, and health records are stored securely in encrypted databases, not in cookies or browser storage.
We do not permit third-party advertisers to access data gathered from cookies on health-related pages of our Platform.
9. DO NOT TRACK (DNT)
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals.
At present, SolaceSquad® does not alter its data collection and use practices in response to DNT signals. We will revisit this policy as industry standards evolve. You may also use the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 7 above to limit tracking.
10. CHILDREN AND COOKIES
The SolaceSquad® Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly place cookies on the devices of minors. If you believe that a child under 18 has used the Platform in a manner that involved the collection of cookie data, please contact us immediately at info@solacesquad.com and we will take appropriate remedial action.
11. DATA RETENTION
Cookie data is retained for as long as the cookie is active (see Section 3 for specific durations). When a cookie expires or is deleted, associated data is no longer accessible to us. Analytics data aggregated from cookies may be retained for up to 26 months in accordance with Google Analytics' data retention settings.
SolaceSquad® does not retain raw cookie values in its own databases. The session token stored in your browser cookie is a reference to a server-side session, which is itself deleted upon logout or expiry.
12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Some of our third-party partners (e.g., Google LLC) are headquartered outside India and may process cookie-related data on servers located in other countries. Where such transfers occur, we ensure they are subject to appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable Indian data protection law.

SolaceSquad® may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or our business practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the SolaceSquad® Platform after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy.
